Subaru - Gary Fisher Cycling Team competes in the NC State Criterium Championship Weekend

Salisbury NC, was the setting for three exciting days of racing for the North Carolina State Criterium Championships.

It sounded like a good idea at the time?

It all started a month or so ago when Marcee asked Chris, Lori, AJ and myself to do a team coed 24 hour mountain bike race with her on her birthday. It was the 24 hours of Burn Challenge, hmm camping, mountain biking, night riding, hanging with my buds. Cool sounded great. (Darren Fuller)

Nancy Jones recaps her experience at the 2010 SPEEDWEEK.

Subaru / Gary Fisher Rider Nancy Jones recently completed her first Speed Week in the Elite Women’s field.  She had this to say after an exhausting week of fast and furious racing:  “I have to write this now before I fall into a deep sleep at 7:00 p.m.  This week was one of the most challenging weeks on the bike I have ever gone through.”  Nancy has become a force on the local and regional scene in the southeast with several road and cyclocross victories.  Although Nancy has been racing the Regional Women’s Open races, she just recently upgraded to a Category 2 Status within the last 3 months.  Speed Week would be a different experience with huge fields and tons of horsepower in more than just a few riders.  These races draw the top professionals in the country!

Southern Pines, North Carolina was the stage for the 31st running of the "Tour De Moore" Road Race.  The team featured riders in the Men's Pro 1-2-3 race, Women's Race, as well as fielding riders from CBC Subaru Gary Fisher in the Men's Category 3 - 4 race.
